Try Something New

TAKE A BREAK TOGETHER

The Take a Break programme was created in 2023 as part of our Try Something New project.

Last year we travel to Bendrigg, this trip allowed young people with disabilities time away from home with their family in a safe, secure, supported environment.

The Digital Connections Project was a groundbreaking initiative that facilitated meaningful connections between individuals through the use of technology.

Over 90 people benefitted.

HearMe Counselling

 From this small seed of an idea, the project grew into a service that has impacted the lives of around 39 individuals who receive support by us and carers from across The Action Group, many of whom would not or could not access mainstream counselling services previously.
