I began my journey with The Action Group in 2006 as a support worker in East Edinburgh. Since then, I’ve held a variety of roles, including helping to establish our East Lothian support service, developing and managing our casual workforce, and working within the Quality Team.
More recently I have led and developed our infrastructure teams — including Business Support, IT and Digital, Human Resources, Recruitment, Facilities, and Data Protection. I believe that every role and department plays a vital part in delivering high-quality social care, where people feel valued, respected, and empowered to make decisions about their lives.
As CEO, I am committed to making sure The Action Group always puts the people we support first and keeps them at the heart of our work.
Qualifications: SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, PDA in Supervision, PRINCE2 Project Management, MA (Hons) Economics
