Jane Marr

I have worked in HR for over 20 years across a variety of sectors, and for the last 3 years or so have been lucky enough to be the Senior HR Manager at the Royal Yacht Britannia (yes, I really do work on the ship!) and Fingal Hotel.

I first joined The Action Group as part of the HR team and absolutely loved the ethos, energy, people, values and the real impact I could see it having on people's lives in both big and small ways - and actually, the small ways are often the most important as they mean that people who use our services, who are so often ignored or not valued, are really "seen" and accepted both for who they are and who they want to be. When I finally decided it was time for a change and made the very difficult decision to leave this vibrancy behind, I was asked if I would consider joining the Board, which felt like an honour - and it is a privilege to be able to continue to be part of this gorgeous, very special organisation.

Outside of work I am blessed with two teenagers who take turns in being delightful and a dog who is nearly always a joy.
