I joined the Board to try and help the work of The Action Group in developing services for people with learning disabilities.

I am the Board link for the Advice Services.

Interest in all services for children and adults with learning disabilities fostered by being the father or a daughter with Down’s Syndrome, who has benefited enormously from The Action Group’s services for many years.

Outwith the Board: I am Emeritus (Retired) Professor of Medicine (Rheumatology).
