I had been given excellent advice by the Advice Services and at that time, joined The Action Group. I then turned up at an AGM when they were looking for new Board Members.

I am the Board link for Real Jobs, Administration and HR.

My specific interest in services for children and adults with a learning disability is because my daughter, Sacha, (age 39) has been disabled since birth. She went to The Engine Shed from 1999-2002 and now works part time for NHS Lothian.

Outwith the Board: I am retired. I am also Honorary Secretary of the Scottish Destination Management Association.
