Shifts: 6 hours (every Sunday 10am – 4pm).

About the Role

Our support workers in the Children and Adults in Transition Services (CAATS) provide individual and group support for children and young adults and their families/carers.
We are looking for enthusiactic individuals to provide support to their Sunday group.

Salary

  • £22,165 – £22,999 per annum, pro rata and based on 39-hour work week

  • Casual hourly rate: £10.90 per hour

  • Sleepover payment of £87.20. **Sleepovers are not counted as part of your contracted hours, and are paid in addition to your regular salary

Our CAATS teams in Edinburgh is looking for enthusiatic individuals to provide suppport to children up to 16 years old. We are looking for support workers who share The Action Group’s values and who are great communicators. The ideal candidate would be patient and practical, and also have a sense of fun. You need to be energetic, creative and have great attention to detail.


We are looking for people to provide support to children on a regular basis providing support to them in their local community to take part in their local activities: swimming, going to the park, day trips, cinema and meeting up with other children. This support provides families much needed respite. We require individuals with the energy and drive required to support children with different needs.


No experience or formal qualifications are necessary as paid training is provided, but some experience of providing care or support would be an advantage.
