About the Role

We are looking for fun and energetic people to support a young man as he moves into his own home in the Leith area.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be consistent and find it easy to connect with people.

You and your colleagues will work together to help this person build the foundations for a successful future.

Salary

  • £22,165 – £22,999 per annum, pro rata and based on 39-hour work week

  • Casual hourly rate: £10.90 per hour

  • (if applicable) Sleepover payment of £87.20. Sleepovers are not counted as part of your contracted hours, and are paid in addition to your regular salary

Requirements

Candidates must be great communicators and problem solvers, and be fully committed to The Action Group’s values of equality, inclusion and opportunity for all.


Many of our support workers go on to complete formal qualifications in social care as they develop their professional skills, or do support work while they study.
