About the Role

Our Playscheme enables children and young people aged between 5-18 years old with support needs and learning disabilities to have a stimulating inclusive play with an emphasis on young people having fun and developing their confidence. Our service provides families & carers with a short break in the school holidays and gives children the opportunity to interact and engage with others in an active, creative and sensory environment. - Paid training is provided.

Salary

Casual hourly rate: £10.90 per hour

Requirements

Do you have a passion for creating joyful and inclusive play experiences for children and young people aged 5-18 with support needs and learning disabilities? If you're enthusiastic about fostering fun, confidence, and interactive engagement, we invite you to join our dedicated team as a Playworker. Whether you're an experienced play enthusiast or just starting your journey, we provide paid training to help you succeed in this rewarding role. As a Playworker, you'll contribute to:


  • Providing children and young people with stimulating, inclusive, and confidence-building play experiences.

  • Offering families and caregivers a well-deserved short break during school holidays.

  • Encouraging interaction and engagement among participants in a dynamic, creative, and sensory-rich environment.
