About the Role
Do you want to make a real difference in the life of someone with support needs?
Full-time or part-time work available in Falkirk, providing individual support to empower a young man taking steps towards greater independence. You need to be able to drive for this position.
Salary
£24,402 - £25,338 per annum, pro rata and based on 39-hour work week
Casual hourly rate: £12 per hour
Sleepover payment of £96. Sleepovers are not counted as part of your contracted hours, and are paid in addition to your regular salary
Requirements
We need support workers to work in Falkirk, supporting a young man to manage his daily anxieties. He lives in his own home and his support workers will help him to access local amenities and resources within the community, as well as accompanying him in pursuing his hobbies. He enjoys swimming and being outdoors, as well as going on day trips by car, bus or train. He also loves story books, songs and playing games on his tablet. Experience is not required as paid training is provided.
Being able to drive and having a car you can use for work is a requirement. You would be able to claim mileage on qualifying journeys.
Candidates must be great communicators and problem solvers, and be fully committed to The Action Group’s values of equality, inclusion and opportunity for all.
