16hrs+ sleepovers

About the Role

Hi, I'm Darran, I’m 23 years old and with support I live in my own home in Boness. I love being out and about, I have a busy week doing things I enjoy, this includes being outdoors, going on cars, bus & trains trips, I enjoy story books, songs, swimming, gym and music therapy, you can see I love variety, to relax at home, I enjoy still game and two doors down on the tv. I attend a local club where I meet my friends, I also enjoy each month attending the City night club event where I can meet old school friends and enjoy the music. I love to people watch. I'm recruiting new team members to support me to live my best life. I need people that can make me feel safe and help me manage my anxieties, as a match for me you will be resilient, adaptable and re-assuring. It would be beneficial if you are a driver as I have my own car, sleepovers are also part of my support.

Salary

  • £24,402 - £25,338 per annum, pro rata and based on 39-hour work week

  • Casual hourly rate: £12 per hour

  • Sleepover payment of £96. Sleepovers are not counted as part of your contracted hours, and are paid in addition to your regular salary

Requirements

Candidates must be great communicators and problem solvers, and be fully committed to The Action Group’s values of equality, inclusion and opportunity for all. No experience or formal qualifications are necessary as paid training is provided. Many of our support workers go on to complete formal qualifications in social care.
