About the Role

Mondays to Thursdays: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Fridays: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
Salary
£22,165 – £22,999 per annum, pro rata and based on 39-hour work week
Casual hourly rate: £10.90 per hour
Sleepover payment of £87.20. **Sleepovers are not counted as part of your contracted hours, and are paid in addition to your regular salary
Requirements
This is a great role for someone with a fun and positive mind-set! As a Day Support Worker, you will encourage and support people with additional needs to take part and access different activities as part of our activities programme. You should have a can-do attitude and the enthusiasm to get involved with all different types of activities!
You will share The Action Group’s values of inclusion and equality, and have a person-centred approach to providing support. Experience in a social care role would be an advantage, but is not required as paid training is provided. In fact, many of our support workers go on to complete formal qualifications in social care!
