About the Role

A great opportunity has opened in our popular Day Support Teams. If you are looking for a role that allows you to be part of a dynamic team who engage in activities with the people we support and make an impact in the local community, this is your role! Apply now!

Mondays to Thursdays: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Fridays: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

  • Casual hourly rate: £10.90 per hour

  • Sleepover payment of £87.20. **Sleepovers are not counted as part of your contracted hours, and are paid in addition to your regular salary

This is a great role for someone with a fun and positive mind-set! As a Day Support Worker, you will encourage and support people with additional needs to take part and access different activities as part of our activities programme. You should have a can-do attitude and the enthusiasm to get involved with all different types of activities!

You will share The Action Group’s values of inclusion and equality, and have a person-centred approach to providing support. Experience in a social care role would be an advantage, but is not required as paid training is provided. In fact, many of our support workers go on to complete formal qualifications in social care!
