Contract
About the Role
We are looking for staff to support a young lady to live independently in her own home as she embarks on this exciting journey in life
Salary
£22,165 – £22,999 per annum, pro rata and based on 39-hour work week
Casual hourly rate: £10.90 per hour
Sleepover payment of £87.20. Sleepovers are not counted as part of your contracted hours, and are paid in addition to your regular salary
Requirements
You will be supporting a young lady with her (very busy) daily schedule with work and social activities such as, attending her volunteer job on Friday’s gardening at the local Church, cooking, baking and attending more of our day service activities, as well as domestic and personal care tasks.
You will work as part of a dynamic, hardworking and fun team of people who are committed to supporting people to lead fulfilling lives.
We are looking for people who are caring, fun, motivated, creative and are skilled at problem solving. This young lady would like workers who are friendly, practically minded and great communicators (ideally you have some storytelling skills!).
The right candidate will share The Action Group’s values of inclusion and equality and will have a person-centred approach to providing support. Paid training is provided.
