Membership
Being a member of The Action Group is FREE and does not need to be renewed each year.All you need to do is fill in the membership form which is available on the Joining & Helping PDF download (see opposite). Alternatively call 0131 475 2315 or email advice@actiongroup.org.uk to receive the form in an alternative format.
The Action Group is keen to make its membership as wide as possible. Being a member simply shows that you support the Group’s aims of campaigning for and providing better services in the community.
The membership gives the Group a solid base for its work and helps to keep as many people as possible informed.
- Members receive newsletters, and other information on benefits, services and changes in them.
- Members can attend and vote at the annual general meeting and serve on the Council of Management.
- Members' Days are held twice each year with events, workshops, speakers and "Kids' Club".
- Other meetings are held to discuss the Group’s future plans and general developments in community care policy.
