The Action Group has an excellent record of raising project funding from charitable trusts and the Big Lottery Fund.But this money is always tied to specific activities and it is important for the Group to develop sources of unallocated funds that can be diverted into whichever service area needs it most.
Developing a broad base of support for The Action Group with individuals and companies committed to helping the Group to develop its services is neither a ‘quick fix’ nor a substitute for project funding– applications to trusts will continue as the need arises.
It is a long-term strategy that we hope will eventually provide the Group with greater financial freedom and flexibility.
